dtSearch versions 7.41 and later require the Service Pack 1 version of the MFC 8 and Visual C++ 8 components. These files should be installed with the dtSearch program. If you see a message indicating that these files are missing, you can download a small program from Microsoft that will restore any missing files. The files are available here:

Click here to download oleacc.dll, and save the file in your dtSearch BIN folder (usually c:\program files\dtsearch\bin). This version of oleacc.dll will only work with dtSearch, so you should not use it with any other program; it is just a placeholder so that dtSearch 6.x will run under Windows 95 or Windows 98.
Important Note 1: Please do not copy the file anywhere else, like your Windows or Windows\System folder, as this could cause other programs on your computer to stop working.
Important Note 2: This file can only be used with Windows 95 or Windows 98.
Upgrading to dtSearch 6.21 or later will also fix this problem.
