SetInputItem initializes a DFileConvertJob with information about a document that is available from search results.

Parameters
Description
DSearchResults& res
Search results containing the item
int iItem = -1
The item in search results to use as input

Data transferred from search results in SetInputItem includes:

  • The filename
  • The hit count and hit offsets
  • The file type of the document when it was indexed
  • The document id of the document in the index
  • The index path and alphabet location
